Cards & Things Challenge

Standard

This is the card I’m entering in the Cards & Things Challenge this week. The card was made with Very Vanilla Card Stock. I layered a piece of Tangerine Tango CS, which was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, on the front of the card. I cut out a piece of First Edition Specialty Paper with the Top Note Bigz Die, cut off the right side of it, sponged the edges with Tangerine Tango Ink, and adhered it to the card front.  The bird, the bird’s wing and the branch were all punched out using the Build a Bird Punch. They were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Happy Birthday was stamped on a small piece of the First Edition Specialty Paper and was cut out with scissors. Last, I added a piece of Victoria Crochet Trim and a button to match.  All products, except the button, are Stampin’ Up!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. Terry

Time for Your Birthday!

Standard

I was so disappointed when the Sense of Time Stamp Set retired this year. You can use it for so many things. This time I used it for a birthday card.
Speaking of birthdays and my real reason for posting this card…Sign up for my newsletter in the left-hand column here, (or if you’re already signed up), email me your name and birthdate (tduncan088@gmail.com),  and you will receive a birthday present from me!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. Terry

Don’t you just love sponged and brayered backgrounds? I know I do! This one was done by sponging Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango, Peach Parfait, Rose Red, Daffodil Yellow, and So Saffron Inks over the tree image which was first embossed in black on the Whisper White background.

This was so much fun to make!
